Following my fashionistas’ advice.
So, went to San Diego today. When I go to San Diego, I don’t go to the zoo or seaworld, or legoland, or anything boring like that. I go shop ‘til I drop in the Navy Exchange. That place has cheaper stuff and no tax.
Following my fashionistas’ advice (MCR, they’re my fashionistas. (and no that isn’t the emo band, My Chemical Romance, those are the 3 intials of my 3 fashionistas on that one day)), I bought a pair of skinny jeans, two pairs of shorts, and new Vanns shoes. No shirts doe. Yes, I didn’t think I would wear skinny jeans, but idk, I kinda liked them, plus I needed some new jeans. And my fashionistas thought it looked good on me. It brings out the figure of my legs (wtf did I just type). I got the shorts because it’s almost summer. But not only that, but lets go back to 5th grade, shall we?
In 5th grade, I wore pants. Pants of the freakin’ time. Not jeans because the district thinks jeans are stupid and should be outlawed for elementary and middle school students. Now, idk why, but like I guess I wanted to show off my body, and like I wanted to wear shorts to show my class my legs (again, wtf did I just type). I wore them at the end of the school year, on the day we got our 5th grade yearbooks. It was really really cloudy there. Not only was I cold on that day, but since I never really wore shorts, my legs were really. really. WHITE. One girl even wrote on my yearbook, “I’m gonna miss you, white legs.” So like, I just stopped wearing shorts forever. I hated even wearing them during PE. People I thought I freakin’ shaved my white legs, wtf. I wore sweats in middle school PE (those were comfy, I wished I didn’t lose them). Then in high school, we couldn’t wear them, so I got shorts, and my legs tanned over time. Even left a tan line on my ankle. So, now that my legs are now tanned, I kinda wanna wear shorts again. Just to show off my legs again, it’ll be like a throwback to 5th grade or something. Hahaha.
Anyway, back to my pants and jeans, I feel kinda bad now because the prices are just outrageous. Let’s see 50 on the jeans, 40 plus 40 on the shorts, and 30 on the shoes. Dude, imagine I went to a regular clothing shop like at the mall. One of the shorts would’ve been like 60 bucks + tax. Dang, that’s too much for nice shorts. So total what it costed there, and it will be….Wait, 160? OMG, they should’ve just gave that money for me to save. Hahaha.
I feel really bad though. Okay, so I kinda calculated our income. Then I divided it into monthly income per person in the household. It got to around $450 a month per person. That’s not really a lot, so I feel bad for using so much money all at once.
Though, I gotta say, I love my parents for that. Even though I may seem like whiny little kid sometimes, I would like to thank my parents. Although I don’t talk to them much (or even at all), I know they’re here for me and always want the best for me. They’ve sacrificed so much for me, and sometimes I feel that I don’t give them what they deserve. I know sometimes I get whiny when I don’t get what I want, but in the end, I’m happy that I’m actually able to have some of the stuff I have. I’m lucky just to have both of you guys here together raising me to make me a better person in the real world and to have someone to be proud of. I don’t want to let you guys down. Love you guys. <3
So, I wanted to keep my hair long until graduation. But apparently, that couldn’t wait two weeks. Now I got a lame haircut and I’ma have to go to a different barber and get another haircut. Freakin’, it’s just freakin’ hair. Let me keep it how I want. We will waste less money and time that way.
